These are the Terms and Conditions which will apply to your purchase of Goods from the Maraina web site https://maraina-london.com. These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding contract between us and you. Your acceptance of the terms and conditions is given when you purchase Goods from us.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website.
Orders placed on the website are for private individuals aged 18 years old or over. The resale of Maraina products is strictly forbidden without our prior written approval.
The website https://maraina-london.com and Goods are provided by Maraina Limited, a company registered in England under number 9024583 whose a registered office at 54 Sun Street, Waltham Abbey, England, EN9 1EJ.
The terms "we", "us", "our" refer to Maraina Limited. When we refer to "you" and "your" we mean the user of the Website and purchaser of Goods.
Our store is hosted on “squarespace.com”. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions time to time without prior notice to you. The version of Terms and Conditions that will apply to your order will be those on Maraina website at the time you place an order.
BUYING GOODS
Your Order only constitutes an offer to purchase Goods from us, and does not form a binding contract until accepted by us. We must receive full payment both of the price of the Goods and any delivery charges (if any) before we can accept any offers. We reserve the right to refuse any offers in an Order prior to acceptance for any reason at any time.
We will confirm our acceptance of your order for Goods by sending you a “Dispatch confirmation” email that the goods ordered have been dispatched.
AVAILABILITY
While we do our best to only display items on the website that are in stock, Goods are subject to availability. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these goods and we will refund any money already paid for the goods. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses which you may incur if we do not supply the goods.
DESCRIPTIONS
Colours
We make every effort to reproduce as accurately as we can the colours of merchandise shown on this website. We are unable to guarantee true colour reproduction of shades displayed as browsers, screens and printers do vary in colour output.
Despite all the care taken in the materials choice and its dyeing, raffia strands are naturally irregular and their colouring not perfectly even. Therefore two similar products (i.e. same item, same colour) can present two different shades of colour.
Goods Description
Images, specifications and advertising of the goods on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description.
Product Dimensions
All our products are hand-made. Despite all the care we take to respect the given dimensions on this website, product dimensions can slightly vary.
Typographical errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Occasionally there may be information on our website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability.
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
PRICES
All prices quoted are in British Pounds Sterling, and all purchases will be charged in British Pounds Sterling. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Prices for the products listed on our website are subject to change without notice.
If your order is for delivery to a destination outside of the European Union, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes. It is your responsibility to pay any such duties and taxes. We are unable to advise you in relation to any import duties and taxes and we recommend you contact the local customs office at the delivery destination in this respect.
If your order is for delivery to a destination outside the European Union, your purchase will be UK Value Added Tax exempt, and 20% will be deducted from the cost of your item on checkout.
DELIVERY AND DELIVERY CHARGES
We endeavour to ensure that the Goods that you order are provided by the agreed delivery date. However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen circumstances. Neither Maraina nor our selected delivery service partner shall be under any liability for any delay or failure to deliver the Goods within the estimated time frame.
Should delivery be delayed for more than 21 days you have the right to contact us and cancel your order. In this case we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.
As soon as we have delivered the goods you will be responsible for them. If you delay accepting a delivery, our responsibility for everything other than damage due to our negligence will end on the date our service delivery partner delivered the goods to you.

PAYMENT
We use a third party payment provider called Stripe. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification.
Maraina Limited does not hold any credit details and these would have to be re-entered each time you would like to buy goods from this website.
Once you have entered your card details, Stripe will securely send these details to the bank to be authorised. This is a completely secure process and we ensure that your details cannot be accessed by a third party.
By placing an order, you confirm to us that you are authorised to use the payment method that you provide. If your payment method is not authorised, we may refuse to accept your order and we will not have any responsibility for the non-delivery of the goods.
We are also not responsible for any charges or penalties which may be imposed by the payment provider as result of payment being processed in respect of your order.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Returns
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days and we will refund the cost of the item(s). Do this by contacting us by email at info@maraina-london.com quoting the “Dispatch Confirmation” number supplied to you. We will offer a full refund if the item is returned unused and in a saleable condition within 30 days of you receiving it.
Customers are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods unless the item is faulty. Custom orders cannot be refunded, unless the item is faulty.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied automatically to your credit card, within a certain amount of days.

Exchanges
We do offer exchanges if you are unhappy with the product you have chosen. Please contact us by mail at info@maraina-london.com.
There may be a small delivery fee to exchange or return your order.

Any goods returned for exchange must be in saleable condition.
#Only regular priced items may be exchanged, unfortunately sale items cannot be exchanged.
Shipping your Return or Exchange
To return your product, you should mail your product with a copy of the invoice to: Maraina Limited- 27 Old Gloucester Street, LONDON WC1N 3AX - United Kingdom.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance when returning a product. We therefore don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

LIABILITY
If you have a complaint please contact us at info@maraina-london. We aim to resolve disputes when they first arise.
If we breach the Contract, we shall only be liable for losses which are a reasonably foreseeable consequence of such a breach and the total liability for any claim arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied.
We are not responsible for any consequential customer loss not caused by our breach. Maraina Limited cannot be liable for the result of a failure to provide the goods or to meet any of our obligations under the Contract where such failure is due to events beyond our control.
We will do our best to resolve any disputes over each Contract. Nevertheless if you intend to take court proceedings against us you must do so within the United Kingdom. The contract between Maraina Limited and you shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales .
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND TRADEMARK
The intellectual property rights in all software and content made available to you on or through the website is our property. You are not permitted to publish, manipulate, distribute or otherwise reproduce, in any format, any of the content or copies of the content supplied to you or which appears on the website nor may you use any such content in connection with any business or commercial enterprise.
Maraina is a trademark belonging to us and no licence or consent is granted to you to use these marks in any way, and you agree not to use these marks or any marks which are colourably similar without our written permission.
